کراچی (پ ر) صوبائی الیکشن کمشنر سندھ جناب اعجاز انور چوہان نے کہا کہ پی ایس52 عمرکوٹ۔II کے ضمنی انتخاب کیلئے تمام ضروری انتظامات مکمل کئے جاچکے ہیں۔ جس میں ایک لاکھ 53ہزار 9سو 35حق رائے دہندگان اپنا حق رائے دہی استعمال کریں گے۔ جس کیلئے 128پولنگ اسٹیشن قائم کئے گئے ہیں، حساس پولنگ اسٹیشنوں پر CCTV کیمرے نصب کئے گئے ہیں۔ الیکشن کمیشن آف پاکستان کے احکامات کے تحت رینجرز کے جوانوں کی تعیناتی پولنگ اسٹیشنوں کے باہر ہوگی۔ پولنگ اسٹیشن کے اندر بنیادی سہولیات پانی، بجلی، ٹوائلٹ اور معذور افراد کیلئے ریمپ کی سہولیات موجود ہوگی جس کی تصدیق متعلقہ ڈسٹرکٹ ریٹرننگ آفیسر اور ڈپٹی کمشنر عمرکوٹ نے کی ہے۔
صوبائی الیکشن کمشنر سندھ نے مختلف اخبارات میں شائع ہوئی خبروں کی مکمل تردید کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ ضمنی انتخاب کے اُمیدوار ارباب غلام رحیم کے خدشات کو یکساں رد کرتے ہیں اور بتایا کہ الیکشن کمیشن نے اپنی آئینی ذمہ داری کو بخوبی احسن طریقے سے انجام دیتے ہوئے صاف و شفاف انتخاب کو یقینی بنایا گیا ہے اور محترم چیف الیکشن کمشنر جناب محمد جلال سکندر سلطان راجہ کے احکامات کے مطابق تمام انتخابی سرگرمیوں کی وہ بذات خود نگرانی کررہے ہیں، مزید الیکشن کمیشن بلاتفریق تمام اُمیدواران کیلئے یکساں پالیسی پر عمل پیرا ہے، انہوں نے عمرکوٹ اپنے حالیہ دورے کے دوران تمام اُمیدواران سے کہا ہے کہ صاف و شفاف انتخاب منعقد کرانے میں تمام امیدوار الیکشن کمیشن کا ساتھ دیں۔ حلقے کے ووٹرزسے بھی گزارش کی ہے کہ اپنا حق رائے دہی آزادی سے استعمال کرتے ہوئے جمہوری عمل میں بھرپور حصہ لیں۔
دوران انتخاب شکایات کی وصولی کیلئے ڈسٹرکٹ ریٹرنگ آفیسر/ ریٹرننگ آفیسر اور صوبائی الیکشن کمشنر سندھ کے دفاتر میں شکایتی مراکز قائم کئے گئے ہیں، دفتر صوبائی الیکشن کمشنر سندھ میں جناب نیاز احمد، ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر کو شکایتی مرکز میں تعینات کیا گیا ہے جوکہ مذکورہ ٹیلی فون نمبر 99205338-021، فیکس نمبر 99206645-021اور ای میل ایڈریس pecelection123@gmail.com پر شکایات وصول کی جائیں گی۔
صوبائی الیکشن کمشنر سندھ نے مزید کہا کہ الیکشن کا عمل آزادانہ، منصفانہ اور قانون کی پاسداری کے مطابق عمل میں لایا جائے گااور کسی کو بھی پُرامن انتخاب میں دخل اندازی کی اجازت نہیں دی جائے گی اور قانون کی خلاف ورزی یا پولنگ کے دوران گڑبڑ کرنے والوں کے خلاف قانون کے مطابق بلاتفریق کارروائی کی جائے گی۔

The Provincial Election Commissioner Sindh Mr. Aijaz Anwer Chohan has said that for the conduct of Bye-Election PS-52 Umerkot-II, all necessary arrangements have been Completed and in the said constituency, 153,935 voters shall exercise their rights of franchise at 128-Polling Station. The CCTV camars have been installed at all the highly sensitive polling stations, whereas, as per directions of Hon’ble Election Commissioner of Pakistan the Rangers shall be deployed outside at all polling stations. The basic facilities i.e.Water, Electricity, Washrooms and Ramps for people with disability have been ensured at all the Polling Stations as confirmed by the District Returning Officer and Deputy Commissioner, Umerkot.The Provincial Election Commissioner, Sindh has refuted the news published in some newspapers regarding the reservations of contesting candidate of Arbab Ghulam Rahim for conduct of Bye-Election out-rightly and said that Election Commission is well aware of its constitutional obligation to conduct the Elections free, fair and in a transparent manner. He further, said that in compliance of directions of Mr. Muhammad Jalal Sikandar Sultan Raja, Hon’ble Chief Election Commissioner, he himself is monitoring election process. Moreover, Election Commission is pursuing even handed policy for all the contesting candidates and during his recent visit of Umerkot, all the contesting candidates/political parties were requested to follow the provisions of law so that the poll is held in an orderly and peaceful manner on 18th January, 2021 as well as, all the voters of the Constituency were also requested to participate in democratic process by exercising their rights of franchise.
On poll day for receiving the complaints, complaint centers has been established in the office of the DRO, RO and in the office of Provincial Election Commissioner Sindh and Mr. Niaz Ahmad, Deputy Director has been deputed at the office of the Provincial Election Commissioner, Sindh in complaint center for receiving the complaints on the following numbers:

Provincial Election Commissioner, Karachi (Sindh) has further added that Bye-Election PS-52 Umerkot-II Shall be conducted in accordance with the Laws and Rules. Any kind of interruption /disturbance shall not be allowed at any cost. In case of any violation of Code of Conduct issued by the ECP or any attempt of creating disturbance on poll day shall be dealt strictly & irrespectively, as per law.
